Freedom VR 3 alpha test

Above is an alpha test version of the next version of Freedom VR. Freedom VR 3 is written in Javascript and seems to work in Netscape 4 as well as IE 4 and 5. FVR3 takes advantage of the efficient image loading system and memory management system provided by the browser to greatly outperform the Java version of Freedom VR. For the final version, I'm planning backwards compatibility to Netscape 3 via the original applet.

Freedom VR 3 alpha 1 is available under the GNU public license. Want to test it on your site? The model is stored in the same format as the original Freedom VR, as a collection of .gif or JPEG images. Pick up a ZIP file of this page complete with images and Javascript.
