java-posix is a project to develop a Java interface to many Posix system
services on Posix machines. java-posix does not exist to compete with 100%
pure Java, instead, it exists to save people who might write native methods
a bit of time. Jim Pick has kindly
provided us with a mailing list called java-posix@jimpick.com,
you can subscribe by sending a message with the word "subscribe" in the
body to
java-posix-request@jim.pick.com
