Upright, composite. Leaves are ovate, finely serate and lightly hairy (length 3-3.8 cm). Flowers are small (0.6-0.8 cm) yellow and composite and occur in leaf axils. Flower is wrapped in long tubular green sepal. 3-4 ray flowers are typical, 7 or so disc flowers. Round stem is slightly hairy.
