Family Labiatae
A Mint. Opposite triangular serrate leaves. Tiny ( 0.25 cm diameter) flowers occur alternately in spikes, purple with five petals. Square stem. Spiny fruit (About 0.5 cm long) encased in a green baloon, with tiny sticky hairs that make it highly adhesive.
