A grass, about 70 cm tall. Leaf width about 1 cm . Ligule very tall ( 0.34 cm ) and membranous. Collar wide and white. Seed is hairy all over, green with light brown, blond hairs. Seeds come to a point at one end, seed length about 0.4 cm .
