Fleshy succulent with opposite leaves. Flowers in spike, small and red. Stem is tough, hard to break. Roots are thick (about 1 cm ) and fleshy but not hard to pull. Length from ground to tip of spike about 23 cm .
Rejected by Burro. One leaf on this specimen had a strange growth on it. Eight yellow balls in a row on filaments about 0.6 cm high. These have something to do with a worm; similar growths have been observed subsequently on walls.
