Mint, wiht leaves in whorls of four. Flowers arise out of circular disks of bracts in leaf axils, flowers are small (diameter 0.3-0.6 cm ) Flowers have four hairy white petals, strap-like with a line down their centers. Four stamens with white filamets and slightly purple anthers. One white pistil. Stem is square, nodes are swolen. Plant is common on roadsides and in fields, larger specimens were found in partial shade.
