Crumpling paper

All of these images were taken with an IMPULSE Polaroid camera and were scanned in on a Mac with a Color One Scanner and were later color corrected and rescaled using XV. Click on the little images to see the big picture.

• crumpling paraphrenalia photographed in my office in Rockefeller's basement by me, on the desk of Ron Maimon, one of my office mates. The cans were once full of Health Valley Fat Free Soup.
  

  

• A bunch of paper objects photographed by me on Ron's desk. The origami model belongs, I think, to Sudaashan Martins, another person I share my office with. The crumpled newspaper is the New York Times.

• Here we see Ron crumpling paper using the traditional hand method. Yes, that is prettily-colored origami paper. Ron is reclining in a couch which is rapidly disintegrating into orange couch particles.
  

  

• Believe it or not, this picture was actually taken by Eric Kramer. This is a picture of me demonstrating the cylindrical method of crumpling in the hallway outside my office. It is cropped because I really looked like a dork in this picture.
